Medicine Wheel 2008
Volunteers Needed
We are looking for help with the following:
It's that time again! Donate your talents to Medicine Wheel; take any of the following opportunities to help us create our 17th successful vigil.
Paper molding -- All Thursdays from 2-6pm until November 6th. Drop in to lay some paper and make some art
Truck Load -- Saturday, November 15th 10-4pm. A relatively easy task with our spacious loading dock!
Load in and Build out -- Monday, November 17th- Sunday, November 23rd all day. This is the fun part. Put up walls, display gift shop merchandise, and really get to know Medicine Wheel and BCA staff.
Fire watchers -- We need at least serveral people to keep a watchful eye to avoid fire accidents throughout the whole 24 hour vigil 12am-12am December 1st. 4 hour shifts
Gift shop help -- The same time span as fire watchers, but you are a gift watcher instead!
Kitchen assistance -- Every year we provide amazing food to vigil attendees, but it takes a lot of work. Help us reduce the load by cooking a dish at home to bring in and share or schedule some time to work in the kitchen. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
Strike -- Wednesday, December 3rd, 8-5pm-The help we appreciate most. Strike happens fast. We tear down walls and bundle materials together, and takes much less time with more people.
